Setting up Cubase VST to use the ASIOEZbus Driver
Go to Start > Program Files > Steinberg. In the Steinberg Setup MME window, select Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth in the MME Outputs box. Click on the Set Inactive button. The display will change to read Inactive: Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth. Click OK to close the window.

Now launch VST and go to Options > Audio Setup > System. Select ASIOEZbus as the ASIO device.

If you are unable to select the ASIOEZbus driver within VST's Audio Setup window, you might have to manually register the ASIOEZbus.DLL file. To do so, follow these instructions:

Be sure that the ASIOEZbus.DLL (Version 2.1.0.8) was in fact copied to C:\Windows\System (Win Me) or C:\Windows\System32 (Win XP). Hold down your left mouse button and drag the ASIOEZbus.DLL on top of a file named REGSVR32 and then let go. The REGSVR32 file is located within that same folder. System (Win Me) or System32 (Win XP). This will register the new ASIOEZbus.DLL and you should now be able to select it within VST.
