You can also use the EZbus as your MIDI Device within Sound Forge 5.0. To do so, open Sound Forge, and go to Options > Preferences. Click the tab labeled MIDI/Sync. Select EZbus as the MIDI Output and MIDI Input device, as shown below:

After following the EZbus installation instructions, you can set up Sound Forge 5.0 to use the EZbus as your Preferred Playback/Recording Device. To do so, open Sound Forge, and go to Options > Preferences. Click the tab label Wave. Select EZbus as the Playback and Recording device, as shown below:
